Quick Guide to Common Questions About PTFE Products
We offer PTFE extruded rods (Φ10-200mm) and PTFE molded rods (Φ50-500mm). Lengths are customizable; standard lengths are 1m or cut to your specifications. Primary color is white (natural); black and other colors are available upon request.
The long-term operating temperature range for PTFE is -200°C to +260°C, with short-term tolerance up to 300°C. Within this range, PTFE maintains excellent chemical stability and mechanical properties.
Pure PTFE offers excellent chemical inertness and a low coefficient of friction, but has limited wear resistance and compressive strength. Filled PTFE (e.g., glass fiber, carbon fiber, or graphite filled) significantly improves wear resistance, compressive strength, and thermal conductivity, making it suitable for more demanding applications.
Please provide product drawings (CAD/PDF) or sample photos with material specifications (pure PTFE or filled), dimensional tolerances, quantity, and application details. Our engineering team will provide a quote within 24 hours.
Yes. We offer secondary machining services including turning, milling, drilling, and cutting. We can produce custom-shaped parts and precision components based on your drawings.
Minimum order quantity for standard products is 5 kg or equivalent; custom non-standard items require a minimum order of 10 piece(s), subject to complexity assessment based on drawings. Please contact sales for confirmation.
Standard products are in stock and typically ship within 3-5 business days. Custom items generally require 7-15 business days depending on process complexity. Lead times for bulk orders are negotiable.
Yes, each batch includes a material test report covering key metrics such as density, tensile strength, and hardness. We can also provide compliance documentation for UL, RoHS, and REACH upon request.
PTFE products are widely used in mechanical equipment (seals, bearings), chemical processing equipment (pipe linings, valves), new energy (battery manufacturing), semiconductors (cleanroom components), and food processing.
Yes. PTFE material meets FDA food-contact requirements, is non-toxic and odorless, and offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for sealing applications in food processing and pharmaceutical industries. We can supply PTFE gaskets that comply with FDA standards.
